Susie Yoga
About
Hello, my journey with yoga began around 20 years ago, back then I was never fully committed to a yoga practice, but it was the one class I never lost interest in.
As a busy mum running my own business I found I always returned to yoga, not just for flexibility and strength, but for the stillness, inward reflection and calm, taking my focus away from the external noise and chaos of everyday living.
I began my Yoga Teacher Training in Edinburgh, completing in Goa, India, where we dove deep into the truly authentic practice of Yoga. Home in Edinburgh I’m ready to share my knowledge and hope to bring some joy (and calm) along the way!
I love to teach both Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow classes. Balanced, energising, strengthening and grounding practices for beginners to intermediate levels with accessibility being key. An inclusive yoga class allowing modifications as necessary, listening to your body and forging a deeper connection with the self, through movement, breath and stillness.

I’ve tried yoga on and off over a number of years and this is the first time that it’s enjoyable and makes sense, thanks to Susie. Susie has taught me it’s not about ‘keeping up’ or holding the perfect pose but listening to your body. Slowing down and breathing deeply, which are skills I’m trying to use into my everyday life! So the effects last long after the class has finished.

Susie's classes are wonderful and I would highly recommend. Susie creates such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, is highly knowledgeable and really goes the extra mile to help you get the most from the class.

I absolutely love the classes. Susie is a fantastic teacher with a deep knowledge of yoga. Her classes are carefully and skilfully paced with a lovely sense of flow. You learn so much from each session and it is a wonderfully enjoyable hour.
